Damon, an early Equilibrium team member, is a Principal focusing on Equilibrium’s water, waste and energy infrastructure strategies.  He co-led the creation of the firm’s Wastewater Opportunity Fund I and Water and Wastewater Opportunity Fund II, to which he serves on both Investment and Management Committees.

He leverages over 25 years of experience spanning distributed infrastructure, real estate and capital markets. He has expertise in multifaceted development-based project finance, complex transaction negotiation and structuring, and asset disposition with over $2.2 billion in real estate and wastewater development spanning 29 projects.  Prior to Equilibrium, he was the Vice President – Finance for Williams & Dame Development (WDD), whose visionary residential and mixed used developments include Portland’s South Waterfront District and Los Angeles’ South Park District. Prior to joining WDD, Damon was a Vice President at Needham & Company focused on M&A transactions, worked as a corporate business development analyst with Mentor Graphics and as an equity research analyst at Black & Company (now part of Wells Fargo Securities).

Damon earned an MS in Industrial Administration (MBA) from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University and a BS in Finance from the University of Oregon. He is also a CFA charterholder.

He has been a board member of Lady Hill Winery since 2015 as well as an avid and aging CrossFitter since 2006.
