She also assists with weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and check runs, recording general ledger entries and month-end financial reports for multiple corporate entities.

Annie has experience working with a public accounting firm where she assisted with filing individual and entities tax returns. Then she spent more than a year working at Vancouver Housing Authority, a governmental entity, that its main function is to provide affordable housing programs for Clark’s County low-income families through Section 8 vouchers and other housing programs. She was one of the staff accountants in the Finance Department where she was responsible for managing multiple grants from various sources including federal, Washington State of Commerce, and local funding that helped the entity run their housing programs. She oversaw and focused on Grants’ monthly financial reports to make sure revenues and operating expenses were recorded accurately and in compliance with government accounting rules and GAAP. In addition, she reviewed and worked closely with auditors for the entity’s grant audit report. She generated and submitted complex reports for reimbursement to HUD which assisted thousands of families to pay their rents monthly through issued vouchers across Clark County.

Annie graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in accounting.

Annie enjoys photography, Zumba, cooking, and traveling with her family outside work.
